Identifying the problem
Where does our work start?
BIPOC women educators BIPOC women educators face higher burnout and turnover rates, often due to the added burdens of racial microaggressions and the “invisible tax” of extra responsibilities without compensation.
BIPOC students encounter significant barriers to academic success, such as limited access to advanced courses, which are exacerbated by a lack of diverse educators who can serve as role models and advocates.
BIPOC educators experience elevated levels of stress, anxiety, and depression, necessitating targeted mental health support to address the unique challenges they face in educational settings.
